We make every effort to make the surgery accessible for disabled patients and for those with physical access needs.
Parking
We have 2 accessible parking spaces, one at each end of the car park.
Step-Free Access
There is step-free access through the main door and our fire exit from our new building is also step-free, with access via a ramp. All patient areas are on the ground floor, with level access.
Accessible Doors, Corridors and Pathways
We have an automatic main access door and power assisted doors (with motion sensors and push-buttons) in the corridors to ease access.
Toilet Facilities
We have an accessible toilet facility which includes an accessible baby-change table. We also have support rails in our other patient toilet.
Hearing Difficulties
If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or nurse, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance.
Lift
We have a lift to our first floor for any patient attending meetings or group-sessions.
Reasonable Adjustments
If due to a disability you require reasonable adjustments to support your access to the premises, please let us know and we will do our best to support you. We can also add a 'flag' on your record to alert other healthcare services to your access needs.
